plans on the eastern side of the city and those are shown here. actually they're outlined in yellow this this particular plan and while we were preparing these plans the redevelopment agency was in the process of developing plans for the areas in blue namely mission bay which was done about the same time and trans bay and the largest of them all and the hunter's point shipyard plan. all of these are adjacent or directly on the waterfront so one of the important points to make today is that the work we have done with these plans and the work of the water use plan is essentially a continuation of the same set of -- same work. that these plans are really combined and the notion of all of this planning work besides accommodating the growth was really to address how they become a seamless part of the same city that extends from theup lands into the waterfront. one of the things i am proud of in my tenure since i arrived five years ago and i can't take credit for starting the plans but i can take credit for helping to bring them to completion and in the
